To inspire the students to excel and even outshine their performance, the ‘Prize Distribution Ceremony’ was organized in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, on 24th February 2024.
On this occasion, the students from Nursery to Class 5 were rewarded for their excellent performance in the ‘Gita Chanting Competition’ organized by Chinmaya Ashram, Ranchi.
The students were congratulated for their achievements and motivated to set new benchmarks for themselves. It was indeed a memorable day for everyone.

A mesmerizing Annual Function entitled ‘Festin O Beats’ – Dreams Unleashed was celebrated by the students of Pre-Nursery to class -2, at Bridgeford School, Tupudana on 21st December 2023.
The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. R.S. Raman, Chief General Manager ( Structural ) and President of Mecon Sports Club. The Guest of Honour was Nikki Raj, an Electrical Engineer in Mecon.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by a bouquet presentation to the guests. The students through their welcome song gave a rhythmic beginning to the event. On this occasion, the Chairman of the school thanked everyone for their support in continuing the successful journey of the institution. The Principal welcomed the eminent guests and presented the Annual Report.
Young Bridgefordians enthralled the audience with their fabulous performances. They exhibited their talents through a series of exhilarating performances titled, Buddhu Sa Mann, Duniya Ka Nara, Chote – Chote Tamashe, Bandeya Re Bandeya, and Waqt Ki Kasauti. The audience couldn’t stop tapping their feet with the magical performance of Astronomical Dance and Christmas Beats. Hindi play Andher Nagri further mesmerized the audience with its enchanting narration.
The Chief Guest appreciated the performance of the students as well as the school in fostering holistic development and cultural richness.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem. It was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone.

Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana celebrated its Annual Function woven around the theme, ‘India La Vue’ – Sailing to New Horizon with vibrancy on 22nd December 2023.
The function was presided over by the honorable Chief Guest Mr. Sumant Singh, DIG ( Eastern Sector) CISF, and the Guest of Honour Mrs.Gunjan Singh who is a versatile teacher.
The function started with the welcoming of esteemed guests followed by the lighting of the auspicious lamp. The melody of the welcome song, ‘We are the World’ mesmerized the audience and gave a wonderful start.
The program was an amalgamation of various hues benefiting the theme wondrously. The Shiv Vandana presented by the students filled the atmosphere with Shiv Vandana spirit. There were feet-tapping dancers which enthralled everyone.
The students with their performance ‘Jai Ho’, highlighted the achievements of India. They showed how India has not only accepted the change but also set new examples in front of the world, through their dance, ‘Mai Naye Bharat Ka Chehra Hun’.They spread the message of peace which is the need of the hour, through their spectacular performance ‘Gurus of Peace’. The students presented dance drama on the Mahabharata theme, leaving the audience spellbound. Through the performance, they showed how one’s courage can break all hurdles of life.
However, the pinnacle of the evening’s splendor was reached with the Hindi play, Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam, where the students highlighted India’s speciality in accepting all religions and tying them in one thread. The props and costumes added color to the festive occasion.
The students were also felicitated for their achievements in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour appreciated the efforts of the students and highlighted the importance of compassion, love, tolerance, understanding, and peace.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem. It was indeed a huge success.
To mark the birth of a great teacher and philosopher, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, and to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, celebrated the joint event of Teacher’s Day and Janmashtami respectively on 4th September with laughter, merriment, music, and color.
Students staged cultural items to show their love and appreciation for their teachers and gave handmade cards and flowers to them. Some students donned the roles of Lord Krishna, Radha, Yashoda, Gopikas, and Gopalas and displayed scenes from their lives.
To make the celebration a memorable one, melodious songs and enthralling group dances were performed by the students.
Children were made familiar with the actual story of the birth of Lord Krishna and were explained the objective of celebrating Teacher’s Day too.
The celebration justified that teachers are the most beautiful human beings and their selfless service cannot be gratified.
The event was successful in making the students understand the importance of our glorified Indian traditions and culture.
Celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
To make the students aware of the importance of freedom and tell them about the struggle of our brave soldiers to maintain this, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi on 14th August 2023.
The little students through their colorful dance performances presented the beautiful picture of Indian glorious heritage. A small dance drama was presented to give a tribute to the martyrs of our country. The atmosphere was filled with the feeling of patriotism.
To encourage the young talents for their excellent performance in the Olympiads Prize Distribution Ceremony was also organised for the students. The event proved successful.
Green Day Celebration in Bridgeford
To sensitize the young learners about the importance of protecting planet Earth, some playful activities like drawing, collage making, clay modeling, paper cups, and paper bag decorations were organized for them. Through these activities, they got an excellent opportunity to showcase their artistic skills and express their creativity and imagination. It proved successful.

To broaden the educational experience of the students and to give them exposure to the outside world, ‘A Visit to a Renowned Biscuit Manufacturing Unit, Parle – G’ which is the world’s largest selling biscuit, was arranged for the students of class 5.
First of all the students were taken to the auditorium of the factory where they were shown a small documentary capturing the whole process of production. They were accompanied by the members of the faculty who showed them and briefed them and everything. They were taken through different sections where they saw the entire step-wise process of biscuit making. They got to know the various processes like kneading, mixing, shaping, baking, and final packaging of the products. As a token of gratitude, they were also given biscuits which they all enjoyed on the way back to school.
It was an informative, knowledgeable as well as memorable trip for the students which provided the opportunity for experiential learning to the students.

Doctors are the real heroes fighting at the forefront to save millions of lives around the globe. So, to express gratitude to all medical practitioners for their ethical and relentless service to humanity, ‘National Doctor’s Day’ was celebrated in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana on 1st July 2023.
On this occasion, the students were made aware of the priceless role of the doctors in the society. To emphasize this, speeches were delivered by the students and also a skit was put up to illustrate a day in a doctor’s life. The whole atmosphere was filled with gaiety when young students dressed up as doctors and nurses spread the message of a healthy life.
The students were also explained about the different categories of doctors so that they may know whom to consult for a particular illness or discomfort. The students explained the different measures to be taken to maintain a healthy lifestyle. They thanked and saluted all the global heroes who emerged in white lab coats to save humankind from various life-threatening dangers. It was indeed a memorable day for the students.

Yoga nurtures a healthy mind in every school–going child. The school always plays a path-breaking role in the growth and development of the nation. Realizing this, International Yoga Day was celebrated in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana on 21st June, 2023.
On this occasion, children from classes Pre – Nursery to 5 took part in mass yoga, conducted online. They got the chance to learn how yoga embodies the unity of mind and body. They performed different asanas like Vrikshasanas, Bhujangasanas, and Uttaanaasanas and culminated with Pranayama and meditation. They also learned how to make different poses like chair pose, tree pose, cobra pose, butterfly pose, etc. The students stretched their arms, bent their legs, and rolled their necks with greater dexterity. They eagerly performed the asanas under the guidance of their teachers. The students were also told about the theme of International Yoga Day this year i.e. ‘Humanity’ and were encouraged to incorporate it into their daily lives for enhanced well-being.
The main aim of the celebration was to create awareness about the holistic nature of yoga and it was proved successful.

The Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, marked World Earth Day with a wide variety of activities to invoke respect, concern, and action to conserve natural resources and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and souls.
To make the day a special one, an array of creative activities were organized with the view to motivate the children to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful.
The theme for the celebration this year was to Invest in Our Planet.
To sensitize the children to become the crusaders for environmental conservation non-fire cooking activity was organized which created maximum awareness among everyone to save energy.
As a part of this activity, the students prepared healthy and yummy lip-smacking items like biscuit cake, veg sandwiches, sprouted bhel, fruit salad, etc.
The activity made the students aware of the nutritional value of food cooked without flame thereby saving Mother Earth from fumes and pollution.
Bridgeford School celebrated its Annual Cultural Fiesta ‘Udaan,…Nayi Umeedon Ki…’ on April 9th, 2023 in the School Auditorium ‘’The Hive ‘’. The auditorium was bubbling with enthusiasm, festivities filled the air and the joy of the participants knew no bounds. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Major Raghvendra Singh, Head of Security Services, CMPDIL, and a multi-faceted personality. The function was graced by the presence of the Honourable Chairman, Bridgeford Group of Education, Mr. Narayan Jalan, Honourable Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Priyanka Jalan, Principal, Bridgeford School, Mrs. Seema Chitlangia, members of the School Managing Committee, Mrs. Renu Jalan, Mr. Arjun Jalan, and Mr. Ajay Saraogi. Mr. Rajnish Lal and Mrs. Suparna Banerjee, in charge of the Senior Secondary and Secondary Section, teachers, media personnel, and parents with joy and excitement writ large on their faces were also present to encourage the participants.

The first day of a new academic year is always one of the most important days of the year. It is the day that sets the tone for the entire year. It also allows building a learning-centered community by getting to know each other.
So, with high energy and fresh vibes, a new academic session, 2023 – 24 was started in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana where the students were welcomed by their teachers. The day was filled with mixed emotions for parents, children as well as for the teachers.
Some new students seemed nervous to enter their new world of learning but they were made comfortable by their teachers. Some were excited and felt glad to meet their old friends, new teachers, new schedules, and of course new opportunities. The students were explained about the rules and regulations of the school. They were also told about the manners and etiquette to be followed in the classroom. They were also introduced to the new methodology and techniques going to be implemented in the new academic session.
It was an amazing experience to see the lovely smiling faces full of hope.

The contribution of the teachers to make the world a better place for students to live in was acknowledged by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham along with Dainik Jagran Inext. A platform for the Teacher Brilliance Award was organized on 3rd February to honor the teachers under two categories in which two teachers from Bridgeford School, Tupudana were awarded with Best Science & Best Physics Teacher awards.

One should always be ready to combat the challenges of the world as life is not a bed of roses. It offers challenges every day. So to make our young children, who are the future of the nation, aware and to educate them about cancer, a Science Exhibition was held in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana on the occasion of World Cancer Day on 4th February 2023.
On this occasion, the students of class 5 took the initiative to educate everyone. They through their models and posters demonstrated the types of cancers, and diagnostic and preventive methods. They also stress on the importance of the consumption of protein-rich food and engagement in regular exercise to keep our bodies healthy. The initiative taken up by the students was highly appreciated.
To inspire a healthy sense of competition among the students and encourage them to aspire for excellence which is the motto of our school, the winners of various competitions such as English Recitation, Hindi Recitation, English Essay Writing, Hindi Essay Writing, Poster Making , Debate, Creative Writing as well as the winners of Gita Chanting Competition were felicitated. The students were rewarded with certificates and medals by SH Rushiya Chandra Goan, the Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Patratu. He appreciated the effort of the students and said the difference between a dreamer and an achiever is that an achiever always dares and participates. So always be ready to grab the opportunity. The Principal, Mrs Seema Chitlangia asked all the students to continue the spirit of competition and never give up in any condition. The event was successful.

With this quote in mind and to boost the morale of the students, Prize Distribution Ceremony was held in the Pre Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana in which the students who excelled in the various co-curricular activities like Drawing and Colouring, English, and Hindi Story Telling, Recognition Test, etc .were felicitated with certificates and medals by Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Priyanka Jalan, Principal, Mrs Seema Chitlangia and Section Incharge, Mrs Babita Singh. It was a proud moment for all the prize winners as they were a source of inspiration for those who did not win any prizes.
The event motivated the students to go ahead and achieve their heart’s desire and proved to be a great success.

Republic Day celebration took place with patriotic fervor and zest in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana where the children learned about India’s political history, freedom struggle, and the Constitution. To celebrate the monumental day, the students presented soulful songs and dances and showed that despite the diversified cultures and religions we all share the same unity in diversity. They also acted in the lives of famous personalities of our country like Sri Narendra Modi, Mary Kom, M.S. Dhoni, Abdul Kalam, Lakshmi Bai, Mother Teresa, etc. The students were also made aware of the cultural heritage and other aspects of India thereby arousing a sense of pride in being a citizen of the country. The event was a great success.

To inspire the future of the country to act with courage and to infuse in them a spirit of patriotic fervor, Parakram Diwas, the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School on 23rd January 2023. On this occasion, the students were enlightened about the life of Netaji and his selfless service to the nation. The students through their patriotic song brought a saga of love for the nation. They also through the famous slogans of Netaji reminded everyone to challenge themselves until they would emerge as winners. The students also beautifully drew the sketches of their leader and expressed their gratitude. The primary aim of the celebration was to sensitize the students about Subhash Chandra Bose, one of the most influential freedom fighters with extraordinary leadership and it was proven successful.

Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, and for laughter and we celebrate it with the same fervor, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. The Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana celebrated Christmas with great vitality. The tiny tots were arrayed in red and white and danced gloriously to the tunes of “Dashing through the Snow.” A plethora of activities like gift wrapping, making buntings, decoration of Christmas trees, candles, and card making were conducted for the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival reached its heights when Santa Claus moved around distributing sweets among the students.

Yet another euphoric moment for the school as the budding talents of the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana were fortunate to participate in Online Gitanushilanam 2022, in which various competitions were held that took place under the leadership of Dr. Laxmidhar Behra. Our students not only participated in different competitions but also brought laurels to school.
Anshika of class 5B bagged 3rd Prize in Extempore, Aman Kumar of 5F and Bhavya Kumari of 5C also won prizes in Extempore, Tanisha Karn of 5B, bagged 3rd Prize in Essay Writing, whereas Lavanya Gupta of 5F and Raunak Singh of 5F also won prizes in Essay Writing, Aayush Singh of 5C received Jury Prize in Quiz.

To acknowledge and felicitate the meritorious students for attaining outstanding achievements in scholastic and co-scholastic domains, the Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana on 29th November 2022. At the ceremony, the winners of the Maths, Science, Informatics, English, and General Knowledge Olympiads, and winners of the drawing competition were awarded medals and certificates. Further, the students who participated in Inter School DOX and ILCC and proved their potential by bringing laurels to the school were also felicitated for their achievements.
On the occasion, the Principal congratulated the students and also gave the success mantra that if they set their minds on their goals no power in the world can beat them. The Section Charge of the Primary Wing also motivated the students. She asked them to continue the spirit of competition and never to give up. It was indeed a proud moment for everyone.

Children’s Day is a day dedicated to our children to honor their healthy growth and happiness. Every child is important because they are the future of our nation and to make our students brighter, at Bridgeford School, we believe in giving equal importance to mental as well as physical activities. School picnics have always been the most awaited day of the year for the kids and their teachers as they help strengthen the bond between them. To make Children’s Day a memorable one, a school picnic was organized for the students of the Primary Wing and the venue chosen was Bio Diversity Park.
The students along with their teachers started at the venue with a feeling of a fun-filled day ahead. The students were super excited and kept singing throughout their journey on the bus till they reached the venue. The students were amazed to see the play area with colorful swings, slides, merry-go-rounds, and sea saws. The picnic was not only a joyful one but an educative one too as they got a chance to look at nature closely. They saw the different types of cactus, herbs, shrubs and learnt about the medicinal values of the various plants. After a tiring day and a fun-packed morning, the students relished their tiffin boxes filled with delicious meals. The group photography motivated the children to pose in style for the click.
Indeed it was a joyful experience for all and the children were reminded that it is a privilege to be a kid and childhood is the best time of one’s life.

The future of a nation lies in the hands of its youth. The more we empower our youth today, the brighter tomorrow our nation will witness. Bridgeford School, Tupudana, always acknowledges the budding young leaders and reposes the trust in them and to turn this into reality, ‘Investiture Ceremony’ was held in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi on 5th November 2022 for the session 2022 – 23.
After scrutinous interviewing, the Students’ Council is formed. The ceremony was organized not only to provide titles to the selected members of the council but also to confer responsibilities to them. The House Captains and Vice-Captains took their places with their waving flags symbolizing their aspirations for their respective houses Aravali, Nilgiri, Shiwalik, and Vindhya.
The Prefects, the House Captains, the Vice-Captains, the Sports Captain, the Head Boy, and the Head Girl marched spritely and majestically in synchrony with the beating of the drums to receive their sashes and badges. Aman Kumar of class 5 F is appointed Head Boy and Bhavya Kumari of class 5C is appointed Head Girl. The appointed House Captains are Adarsh Kumar of 5A for Aravali, Aarav Karn of 5F for Vindhya, Harshvardhan of 5A for Nilgiri, and Praneet Jalan of 4E for Shiwalik. The House Vice-Captains are Tanisha Karn of 5B from Aravali, Utkarsh of 5B from Vindhya, Samrat of 5F from Nilgiri, and Sarjeel Rahman of 4E from Shiwalik. Aryan Kumar of 5C is appointed as the Sports Captain and Aditya Vardhan Singh of 5 E as the Sports Vice Captain. They took the pledge to uphold the motto of the school and carry out their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence. On this occasion, the Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Priyanka Jalan motivated the students to strive harder with a unified zeal for the betterment of the school. Primary Section Charge, Mrs.Babita Singh also reminded the students that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school, and their peers.
It was a proud moment to witness the young children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey of leadership.

Diwali, the festival that enlightens the hearts and brings an ambiance of joy and happiness was celebrated with festive gusto in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi.
The celebration took a festive look when all the students came dressed up in ethnic attire and lit the earthen lamps thereby taking the pledge to say, ” No To Crackers “and “No To Electric Lights .” Students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco–friendly celebrations. Various activities like rangoli making, candle and diya decoration, paper decoration, paper lanterns, and card making were organized in the different classes. Students were sensitized about the ill effects of burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with diyas, sweets, and non–polluting green crackers.
The celebration reached its peak when the Diwali songs filled the air and the students danced merrily to its tune. Indeed the celebration was a splendid one and everyone returned home with cherishing memories and a bundle of joy.

The season of festivals has dawned on us and the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi leaves no stones unturned to ensure that the students bask in festivities and yet learn something new. So to bring forth the innate skills and hone the creativity of the students, a 2-day workshop was organized for the students of class 5.
Ms.Puja Bagaria was the mentor for the workshop and is the owner of Shree Creation. The workshop started with an explanation of rules and regulations. The students were briefed about the precautionary measures. She taught them the ways to make different types of candles using different molds. In the workshop, several types of candles, their shapes, stages of creation, and tools were discussed. With cheerful faces, the students sat at their workstations to start their fun activities. They enjoyed decorating their candles beautifully. The children made different types of candles like layer candles, floating candles, glass candles, and aarti candles. They also made the bases for the candles.
The festival of lights came alive on the 2nd day when the children dressed up in ethnic attire gave a festive look to the celebration. The students who made the most beautiful candles were awarded for their hard work and creativity. They also gifted beautiful candles to the Vice Chairperson, Principal, Section in charge, and their teachers.
The enjoyable workshop provided an opportunity to get a creative environment for the young talents as well as to think out of the box.
Kabaddi: ‘A beautiful balance between holding on and letting go.’
As the whole world emphasizes the importance of education in a child’s journey to become a balanced and mature individual, it can’t be denied that physical education is also an integral part of the total education system. It helps in the attainment of the ultimate aim of education, i.e. the achievement of holistic development. Team sports are good for learning accountability, dedication, and leadership. To fulfill this mission, the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi took the initiative to engage the students in sports activities and organized the Inter House Kabaddi Tournament.
Four teams of boys and girls from the four houses participated in the tournament. They catered to and captured the interest of young talents. From boys Nilgiri and Aravali and girls Nilgiri and Vindhya secured their berths for the final matches.
The final match was played on 11th October 2022 under the supervision of Mr.Subhash, a Sports Expert and well-known Physical Education Teacher at Sapphire International School, he was also the referee of the final tournament. All the teams followed the rules and regulations of the game and played to the best of their capability. The playground of the school reverberated with the sounds of ‘kabaddi kabaddi’, as the audience cheered the players to put their best foot forward.
There were sometimes moments of aggression between the players but were ended on an amiable scale. The sportsmanship spirit of the teams was beyond the level. The tournament was filled with passion, excitement, and hunger for victory. On the occasion, Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Priyanka Jalan, and Principal, Mrs.Seema Chitlangia were also present to motivate the young players. They not only gave the players important tips but also played with them.
In the tournament, Nilgiri House from boys and Vindhya House from girls emerged as winners. The tournament was a huge success and also set a benchmark for future tournaments to follow.

World Animal Day, the day for those who care for and love the wonderful creations of God was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana.
The students dedicated the day to all animals and celebrated the relationship between humankind and the animal kingdom. To spread the message of peace and love for animals and to generate a sense of responsibility towards them various activities were organized for the students like drawing of their favorite animals, discussions about the extinction of animals especially cheetahs, and also the plight of the endangered ones.
Students came dressed up as their favorite animals and generated awareness among everyone about the existence of beautiful creatures and provided information on how to look after the animals and respect them.
The day gave everyone a reason to be a part of something special and was a fantastic opportunity for the students to learn about the importance of animal welfare and enhance their relationship with animals.

The principles Gandhiji stood for, are still invoked across India and the world. His lasting legacy continues to inspire millions and there is no aspect of life that Gandhian thought did not touch.
To pay a rich tribute to the great iconic leader on his 153rd birthday, a spectacular celebration was held in the Primary Section of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, in the form of a plethora of interactive and interesting activities performed enthusiastically by the children.
To imbibe the true meaning of the day beautiful charkha replicas were made by the little hands of the primary Section to pay special tribute to the “Father of the Nation.” Children made puppets of the three monkeys representing the principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” The toddlers dressed up in the get-up of ‘Bapu’ and recited poems eloquently to depict Gandhian values and thoughts.
The students of the Primary Section articulated Gandhiji’s ideology and contribution towards India’s independence and a wonderful skit including music and dance was presented that captured the attention of one and all present there.
These responsible citizens also vowed to follow his ideals and make his dream of a progressive India come true and paid homage to a man whose role was monumental in shaping our independence.

किसी भी देश की भाषा और संस्कृति लोगों को दूसरे लोगों से जोड़ने और एक मजबूत राष्ट्र बनाने में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। हिंदी प्रेम, एकता और भाईचारे की भाषा है। 14 सितंबर 2022 बुधवार को ब्रिजफोर्ड स्कूल, तुपुदाना के प्राइमरी विंग में हिंदी दिवस को बड़े गर्व और जोश के साथ मनाया गया। दीप प्रज्ज्वलन के साथ कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत हुई। देश में सबसे व्यापक रूप से बोली जाने वाली भाषा के महत्त्व को चिह्नित करने के लिए इस अवसर पर इंटर हाउस हिंदी स्पीच प्रतियोगिता के साथ-साथ सत्यवादी हरिश्चंद्र के जीवन पर आधारित हिंदी नाटक और नुक्कड़ नाटक ‘हिंदी बीमार है’ का आयोजन किया गया। इंटर हाउस हिन्दी स्पीच प्रतियोगिता में कक्षा चार और पाँच के चारों हाउस क्रमशः अरावली, नीलगिरी, शिवालिक एवं विंध्या हाउस के विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया। इस प्रतियोगिता का विषय हिंदी साहित्य के इतिहास के चार काल क्रमशः आदिकाल, भक्तिकाल, रीतिकाल और आधुनिक काल रहा। प्रतिभागियों ने अपने मनपसंद उपन्यासकारों और कवियों के विचार प्रस्तुत करते हुए कविता पाठ भी किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के साथ शिवालिक हाउस से पौरुषी केसरी और रचना मेहता विजेता रहें और अरावली हाउस से ओम शाश्वत और भव्य जैन उपविजेता रहें। बच्चों ने अपनी प्रस्तुति, अभिव्यक्ति और स्मृति-कौशल से सभी को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। शिक्षकों तथा बच्चों का प्रयास सराहनीय रहा।
Be nice to the air, we all have to share.
International Day of Clean Air is designated to recognize the importance of clean air in our health and daily life. This event was launched with the vision to raise public awareness globally. The day seeks to promote the importance of clean air for health.
Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi observed the International Day of Clean Air with the students of the primary section with great zeal and enthusiasm. The program focused on the theme “The air we share”. A brief presentation was given to the students on air pollution and its effects on human health. The children were made aware that air pollution knows no national borders and is all pervasive. They took oaths to spread awareness of the effects of air pollution as well as to facilitate actions to improve air quality.
Conclusively, the program is envisioned as a people’s movement to adopt a sense of responsibility toward a clean environment.

Teacher’s Day, the day dedicated to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, a great philosopher, scholar, diplomat, and above all a teacher, was celebrated with great gusto and verve in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi on 3rd September 2022.
The students expressed their gratitude, love, respect, acknowledgment, and appreciation for the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development by performing a scintillating cultural show which incorporated poems, dances, songs, and drama. They indicated that teachers play a vital role in making their pupils accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings.
The teachers were ecstatic for the appreciation and love showered upon by their dear students in the form of beautiful handmade cards.
The students participated interestingly and acted as their favorite teachers by teaching and handling the classes. They justified that teacher a beautiful human beings and there is nothing worth enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment.
The celebration was indeed a memorable one for the teachers.

To signify these lines, the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi organized a series of activities in its school from 11th August 2022 to 13th August 2022 to allow the students to know about the glorious history of India’s people, culture, and achievements.
To explore the creative instinct of the students and to encourage them to pen down their ideas in an innovative way, a Creative Writing Competition was organized for the students. The topics were,’ The Person of My Inspiration’, ‘My Idea of Freedom’ and ‘Achievements of India’s 75th’. The students expressed their ideas and impressions about the freedom struggle and vision for future India in a different way.
To commemorate the glorious years of the country’s heritage and culture, Poster Making Competition was organized for the students. The themes for the competition were ‘Digital India’, ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan’,’ Atmanirbhar Bharat’, and ‘Unsung Heroes of Freedom Struggle’.The students displayed their artistic skills through the exquisitely designed posters on the given topics.
On the third day of the celebration, cultural programs were organized by the students. The students through their speeches took everyone down memory lane when they spoke about the freedom fighters. The students of the choir group through their melodious patriotic song awakened everyone’s feelings towards their Mother Land. The dance performances presented by the children created an atmosphere of patriotism.
As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, was explained to the students. The students through their slogan ‘Mera Desh Meri Shaan, Har Ghar Tiranga Hamara Abhiyaan’, encouraged everyone to hoist the National Flag in every house.
“The future depends on what we do in the present. ” So let’s take the pledge to increase awareness and interest in the nation’s journey and prospective growth.

Proving this right, Praneet Jalan of class IV E participated in the Tarang Mega Drawing Competition which was organised by Ekal Yuva Ranchi on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 14th August 2022 and bagged 2nd position in Group A. The theme of the competition was ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’.

Raksha Bandhan, a much-awaited Indian traditional festival of sisterly and brotherly respect was celebrated by the tiny tots of Primary Wing in Bridgeford School, Tupudana, on 11th August 2022.
Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters and to make this day a special one, students made colorful rakhis by using decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, papers, and flowers. They also made beautiful cards and even recited poems, sang songs, and delivered small speeches on the story behind this celebration.
The motive behind the celebration was to make the students aware that Rakhi is not merely a silken thread but a tradition that binds brother and sister beautifully in such a relationship which is the deepest and the noblest of all human emotions.

In Bridgeford School, Tupudana, we always train our students to lead by giving them additional responsibilities that will help them overcome their fears and emerge as leaders of the future. Keeping this in mind monitors were appointed in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi on 10th August 2022.
On this occasion, some responsible students were selected from each section and they were conferred with badges by the Section Charge of the Primary Section, Mrs.Babita Singh.
She made the students aware of their responsibilities and encouraged them to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty. She guided the students to be role models, always walk on the correct path, and be the change. Apart from nurturing leadership skills, she also emphasized the values that one must inculcate like honesty, determination, mental strength, a positive approach, team spirit, and discipline.
The students also promised to disburse their duties and responsibilities most proactively and diligently.

The noble idea of honoring friends and friendship has caught on with the students as one could visualize the International Friendship Day being enthusiastically celebrated by the students of Pre Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, on 2nd August 2022.
The tiny tots dedicated the day to their best friends and friends through empathic speeches, reciting poems, and singing songs. They cherished the day by making friendship bands and exchanging them with their best friends. They also watched stories, based on friendship and shared snacks thereby promoting the value of sharing and caring. The students have explained the true meaning of a friend and that friendship is a selfless bond between true friends through value-based stories. The motive behind this celebration was to make the students enjoy every moment with their friends and strengthen the bond of friendship with genuine feelings of trust, support, and loyalty.

Communication is a fundamental need for human beings to sustain in the world. Good communication skill plays a major role in developing the overall personality of a person. In this competitive world, it is necessary to teach children about the outside world.
So to hone the critical thinking skills of the students and to teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions, an Inter–House Debate Competition was organized in the Primary Wing of Bridgeford School, Tupudana, Ranchi on 22nd July 2022. As soon as the competition started all the participants geared up and were fully passionate to win. Two enthusiasts from each house spoke eloquently on the topic. The topics for the debate were ‘Lockdown was good or bad ‘ and ‘Demonetization – A Revolution or Setback’.
The students presented their views with lots of confidence, clarity of thought, and perfect voice modulation. The highlight of the event was the question-answer round. The questions were aptly answered by the young and witty speakers. But as winning and losing the part and parcel of the game, Vindhya House emerged as the winner for being defensive about their objectives and also sticking to their points till the end. The 2nd position was grabbed by Nilgiri House.
There was a special prize for the best speakers which was won by Bhavya Kumari from Vindhya House and Prajakta Chakraborty from Shiwalik House. The day was impactful and left everyone with much to think about.
