Science is made up of mistakes, but they are mistakes which is useful to make because they lead little by little to the truth.
Science and S.St are subjects that have a perfect balance not only of facts but art and creativity as well. To present a fact in a creative way is difficult which was made possible with the combined efforts of the teachers and the students of classes 6 – 8 of Bridgeford School, Tupudana. The making of wonderful models helped the students understand the logic behind the occurrence of events and the explanation of the topics gave them the indepth knowledge of the concept. The exhibition was divided in three time slots. The first time slot was for biology in which students exhibited their knowledge of human body, modern agriculture methods, caring for our environment and uses of technology to control pollution.
The second time slot was for Physics & Chemistry. Children very well explained the working of machines found around us, framing of image in human eyes, generating of electricity using natural resources and many more.
The third time slot was for S.St in which our students projected the wonderful working system of earth and explained about rotation of earth, changes in our environment, working of solar system, reasons of volcanic eruptions, etc. Students also got a chance to express their views on three sectors of economy and recent issues like Farm Bill 2020.
All the models were liked and the efforts were appreciated by the judges and they admired the creativity of the participants in bringing abstract facts in miniature physical form. Honourable chairperson, Mrs. Priyanka Jalan motivated the children with her words, emphasising on the need of understanding the world around us. Our respected principal, Mrs. Seema Chitlangia also addressed the event and motivated the children with her wise words. The event came to an end with a wonderful vote of thanks by our section incharge, Mrs. Suparna Banerje.
