Bridgeford School hosted a vibrant and energetic Fireless Cooking Competition for students of Classes 6 to 8 on 16th July 2025 in the school auditorium. The event aimed to encourage healthy eating habits, foster teamwork, and ignite culinary creativity—all without the use of fire.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across all houses, with teams showcasing a delightful array of innovative and nutritious dishes. From colorful salads, nutritious smoothies, wraps, and sandwiches to traditional snacks with a twist, the young chefs amazed everyone with their skills, presentation, and awareness of hygiene.
Judged on creativity, taste, presentation, and nutritional value, the event was a perfect blend of learning and fun. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students confidently presented their dishes and explained the ingredients and health benefits involved.
The judges and teachers were thoroughly impressed by the thoughtfulness, teamwork, and effort each group displayed. The event successfully highlighted the importance of balanced diets and fire safety, proving that delicious food can be made without cooking flames.
The competition concluded with words of encouragement from the school Principal, who applauded the students for their active participation and applauded the efforts of the teachers for guiding them.
