The industrious students of Bridgeford School, Tupudana,Grade X, are all geared up to appear for the Board Exams very soon.
In order to boost their morale and encourage them to set higher benchmarks for themselves, a Blessing Ceremony was organized on the 4th of February. The special guests who happened to be the students of class 10 were given a traditional warm welcome and this auspicious ceremony started with the traditional lighting of the Lamp to mark the carrying away of the light of knowledge that they have assembled in the school to illuminate the world that they will touch followed by the rendition of a prayer song.
Students of Class 9 put forth scintillating dance and melodious song performances to make the ceremony livelier. While addressing, Honorable Vice Chairperson , Madam Priyanka Jalan asked the students to carry forward the motto of the school, “Aspiring Excellence” by setting higher benchmarks for themselves.
Respected Principal, Mrs. Seema Chitlangia and Vice Principal, Mr. Munish Dubey motivated and blessed the students with their kind words. The students were reminded of the rules of the examination by the Section In charge, Mrs. Suparna Banerjee.
The program ended with a hymn of blessing followed by the School Song and the National Anthem.
